On October 29-31 representatives of the Belarusian and Union State mass media will make a press tour of the Bryansk oblast of Russia, BelTA learnt from the Permanent Committee of the Union State, which organises the tour jointly with the public press centre of the House of Press. The press tour will highlight several urgent issues: interregional cooperation as one of the guidelines of the Union State construction, cooperation in the sphere of information, education, tourism and youth policy and joint activity to mitigate consequences of the Chernobyl disaster. >>>

Belarusian and Russian scientists to set up new generation of satellites under Kosmos-NT programme

Belarus plans to export up to 30 thousand tonnes of own oil monthly

Modern Fine Art Museum to host Expressions of Nida exhibition

Yulia Sindeyeva becomes second Vice Miss International 2007

Yulia Sindeyeva of Belarus has won the title of the Second Vice Miss International 2007 in Tokyo, Japan, BelTA learnt in the National School of Beauty. In 2006, the 20-year-old won the titles First Vice Miss Belarus and First Vice Miss Europe. The final of the Miss International 2007 was held in Tokyo on October 16. Girls from about 70 countries competed in the contest. Priscila Perales of Mexico became Miss International 2007, Despoina Vlepaki became First Vice Miss International 2007. >>>
